Tour Description

Your driver is your Santorini private tour guide, and he or she will commentate in English, French, German, Russian, or Spanish. Visit Oia Village first for some sightseeing and shopping, or go there last so you can enjoy a sunset over the Aegean Sea.

Archaeology buffs should spend time in Akrotiri, Greece’s best settlement of the Bronze Age. You will explore the ruins on your own, as your guide is not permitted inside. You will also be responsible for admissions fees here and at all sites.

Mount Prophet Elias is the highest point on the island, and you can see everything from up there, so pack plenty of microSD cards. Other photo ops include Perissa and Perivolos, black sand beaches in which you can swim, and Red Beach.

Wine lovers must taste the vino of Estate Argyros and/or Venetsanos Winery. Winemaking is a tradition on this island, and Venetsanos offers the advantage of being located on the Caldera Cliffs. Don’t drink? No problem! Take in the quaint Megalochori and Imerovigli villages.

Imerovigli is also the site of the famous Skaros rock, which was used as a lookout for pirates back in the day. Finally, don’t forget Blue Dome Church in Firostefani on your customized itinerary.

After your guided and private tour, you will be dropped off wherever you choose. If you opt to view the sunset in Oia, have the driver take you back to your hotel so you can wind down for the evening.

Alongside entrance fees as mentioned above, food, drink, and gratuities are not included in the tour price. Your guide and the people of Santorini work hard to ensure your enjoyment, so please keep in mind that gratuities are appreciated even though they are not required.
